Week #14

Hi

I hope that some of you beat the crazy rain out of town of today and made it up to the farm!! I sadly was stranded by the rain and missed the farm...not happy about that.

This week we have a special guest visitor...Gefilteria

The Gefilteria is a boutique purveyor of Old World Jewish foods based in Brooklyn, NY. Founded by a trio of New York foodies, the team has set out to reclaim Jewish culinary traditions. Their kosher certified, sustainably-sourced gefilte fish and horseradish is on sale now for the holidays  through their website.  Rosh Hashanah orders close on September 11, they will be able to take your orders in advance or on Monday at pick up...so order now or don't forget to bring a credit card or cash! (they sold out for Passover last year!).

For more information, and lots of press coverage, including reviews in the New York Times, Haaretz and The Forward, visit their website.

They deliver in the Manhattan, Brooklyn Queens, Riverdale and select locations in LI, NJ and Westchester. We will also have a  special table set up September 16th at the Y where you may pick up orders. They willa lso be back September 24th with Yom Kippur orders.

If you have any questions, just email info@gefilteria.com.
